Adding a deal in Deal Manager can be done in several ways, depending on whether you're creating a new deal or an existing tenant deal. This guide walks you through each method and highlights key fields and features.


📌 Methods for Adding a Deal

1. Using the Add Button at the Top of the Screen

  • Click the Add button at the top of the Deal Manager screen.

  • Choose either:

    • Add Deal for a new tenant.

    • Add Existing Tenant Deal for a current tenant.

For New Tenant Deals:

  • Enter the tenant name.

  • Click Next to open the Proposal Entry Form.

For Existing Tenant Deals:

  • Use the tenant menu or search bar to find the tenant.

  • Select the deal type.

  • Click Next to open the Proposal Entry Form.


2. From the Spaces Dashboard

  • Locate the Actions column.

  • Click Add Deal next to the relevant space.


3. From the Tenants Dashboard

  • Locate the Actions column.

  • Click Add Deal next to the relevant tenant.


🧾 Completing the Proposal Entry Form

Required Fields

  • Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) must be completed to save the proposal.

Tabs at the Bottom of the Form

  • Add Initial Inquiry: Includes fields related to the tenant’s initial interest in leasing.

  • Add Proposal: Opens the full proposal form.

  • Other Information: Displays user-defined fields configured by admin users.


Proposal Form Details

The proposal form includes:

  • Lease Type

  • Space Information

  • Deal Economics:

    • Lease Term Dates

    • Transaction Costs

    • Commissions

    • Rent Schedule

    • Additional Rent Charges

You can choose to:

  • Save the proposal.

  • Save and Close the proposal form.


📊 Proposal Comparison Screen

After closing the proposal form, you’ll be directed to the Proposal Comparison Screen, which compares your deal against:

  • Budget

  • Market Leasing Assumptions

  • Benchmarks

  • Other Deals and Tenants
