Add/Edit Company-Level Approval Requirements

Approval requirements can be tailored to a client’s workflow and deal complexity. These requirements determine when a deal must pause for approval and who is authorized to approve it.

Navigate to:

πŸ”§ Editable Fields

🏁 Stage Gate (Required)

Specifies the stage at which an approval is required. The deal cannot advance to the next stage without an approval at this gate.

🧩 Substage Gate (Optional)

Sets an approval requirement at a substage. The deal will not proceed to the next substage or stage without required approval.

πŸ‘₯ Approvers

Approvers can be defined using:

  • Specific Users

  • Roles

  • Property Attributes (e.g., property manager, region lead)

🎭 Roles

Displays the role associated with the approval step, if configured.


πŸ“‹ Approval Criteria Options

Approval requirements can be based on any combination of the following criteria:

  • Area

  • Rent

  • Tenant Improvements (TI)

  • BreakEven %

  • Initial Cost

  • Net Effective Rent (NER)

  • Total Commission

  • Property Area %

  • Deal Type – Criteria can apply to specific deal types only.

βœ… Match All Criteria

Toggle to specify whether all listed criteria must be met (Yes) or if any can trigger the requirement (No).

🟒 Enabled / Disabled

Approval steps can be activated or deactivated using this flag.

The system will also show disabled steps for visibility and audit tracking.

⏩ Auto Advance Stage

When enabled, the deal will automatically progress to the next approval-required stage once the current approval is granted.

Specifies the sequence in which multiple approval requirements are processed.
