Clause Groups in Deal Manager allow users to organize multiple clauses into reusable sets. These groups can be quickly merged into proposal templates, streamlining the document creation process.

βš™οΈ Setting Up Clause Group Tokens

To create and manage Clause Groups, follow these steps:

Step 1: Navigate to Clause Group Settings

  • Go to Company Settings > Deal Settings > General Settings > Clause Group Tokens

Step 2: Create a New Clause Group Token

  • Click the Add Clause Group Token button

  • Enter a Token Name for the group

  • Click Save to create the token

Step 3: Edit and Attach Clauses

  • Click the Pencil icon next to the token to edit the group

  • Use the dropdown list to attach clauses to the group

    • All clauses previously set up in Voyager will appear in the dropdown

Clause Groups make it easy to merge predefined sets of clauses into proposals with minimal manual effort.

Let’s say you frequently use a set of clauses for retail lease proposals. You can:

  • Create a Clause Group Token called Retail Lease Clauses

  • Attach all relevant clauses (e.g., rent escalation, signage rights, renewal terms)

  • Merge the entire group into your proposal template with a single token
