Navigate to Company Settings -> User Admin -> Users
Adding a New User
Click Add User in the top right corner. Complete the following fields:
If the user will have access to all properties, check the ‘Access to all Properties’ box as well.
If the user only needs access to specific properties, you will need to click ‘Save’ then navigate back to the user for additional setup.
Click on the ‘User DM Properties’ tab. Search the property(s) the user needs access to -> change the access type to ‘Full Access’ -> Click Save.
You can also search by property lists.
Sending Welcome Emails
After you’ve set up your user, it’s important to send out their Welcome Email to notify them they’ve been set up. If utilizing YardiOne, be sure you use the YardiOne option.
Disabling a User
Navigate to the user you’d like to Disable. Check the ‘Disable User’ box. Deal Manager allows you to delegate all this user’s deals to a new user. Click ‘Save’.
Adding a new Role
When adding a user that doesn’t fit any of the current roles created, you’ll need to add a new Role and securities to fit their needs.
Company Settings -> User Admin -> Roles -> Add Role
Name your role and tie it to the Voyager mappings. Choose the default filter of deals they can see. Lastly, ensure you mark them as active.
From here, you can click the Security pencil and navigate which securities/pages this role should have access to.
Adding External DM Users (if using external users):
Company Settings -> User Admin -> External DM Users
To invite external users to have access to your Company, you will need to invite them. The users will have whatever role access you set them for. We typically recommend setting up an ‘External Broker’ role so you can restrict more access than your typical internal users.
Click Invite User:
Input users email address and then select the Role they should be tied to for securities:
If the user exists, you will be able to click ‘Continue’ to the property access screen.
*If they do NOT exist, please contact Deal Manager support to set this user up on their true company within Deal Manager.
Once you’ve saved, you will then be able to choose the user’s access type on properties.
