Using Milestones in Deal Manager
Overview
Milestones are a visual and functional tool in Deal Manager that help users track the progress of a deal. Displayed as a timeline on the Milestone tab, they provide visibility into key stages and tasks throughout the deal lifecycle.
🧭 Accessing and Viewing Milestones
Navigate to the Milestone tab within a deal to view the timeline.
Each milestone displays:
Milestone Title
Associated Deal Stage
Assigned User
Completion Status
✏️ Editing and Adding Milestones
Milestones are configured by admin users in Company Settings > Deal Settings > General Settings > Milestone Templates:
Additional milestones can be added ad hoc by clicking the edit icon on the Milestone tab on a deal.
This allows for customization of milestones on a per-deal basis.

Clicking into a milestone reveals:
All standard milestone information
Milestone Watchers: Users who are notified of milestone updates
Associated Tasks
Notes: Users can add comments or updates
Completion Button: Used to mark the milestone as complete once tasks are finished

When a milestone is completed:
The action is logged in the Activity Feed
All watchers are notified
If a milestone is completed by mistake:
It can be reopened, and the task will be reassigned to the original user
