Approval Settings

These approval options can be managed in your system's Company Settings or with assistance from your Yardi Deal Manager support representative.

When enabled, the current approver in the workflow can edit the proposal during their step.
​When disabled, approvers can view but not modify the proposal during the approval process.

When enabled, an approver can only approve their step once approval has been officially requested.
This helps ensure approvals occur in the correct sequence.

When enabled, the approval workflow proceeds automatically to the next approver after the first approval is submitted.
Subsequent approvers do not need to be manually requested.

When enabled, the automatic workflow progression only applies within the same substage.
Approvals across different substages must still be manually requested.

When enabled, approvals can be submitted on non-active proposals (e.g., a proposal that has been countered but not yet re-activated).
This setting offers greater flexibility during negotiations.

When enabled, any approvals recorded on the original proposal will be copied to the counterproposal.
This is useful for preserving decision history during deal revisions.

When enabled, a rejection resets the entire approval workflow, requiring all steps to be re-approved.
This ensures full review following a rejection.

When enabled, the Yardi Deal Manager team can make necessary edits to approved deals on behalf of the client.
This is typically used for support and administrative exceptions.

Specifies the number of hours after an approval request is sent before a reminder notification is triggered for the approver.
Helps keep workflows moving on time.
