Adding/Editing Floor plans
If you are currently using floor plans over stacking plans, these will need to be manually updated as suites get remeasured/updated.
Editing an existing floor plan:
To Edit a current floor plan, you’ll go to the Properties tab and find the property you’re needing to update. Click Floor Plan to open it up.
Find the Options dropdown. In here, you’ll work your way from bottom to top starting with ‘Edit Spaces’.
Edit Spaces – To edit a current unit, click into one of the mapped units to edit.
It will give you an option to either Edit or Remove the current space. If it’s a simple edit, then choose edit. If you will need to move walls around, it’s suggested to remove the space and start the drawing over.
When editing/adding a new space, you will begin your dot in a corner and double click to make the dot stay. Continue to do so around each corner of the space. Once done, you’ll need to click ‘Finish’, then click Save and Exit.
Edit Mappings – This is where you’ll link the unit number to the space. Click the unit you’d like to map, then choose the unit number from the list on the right. Anything in orange has not been mapped, anything in yellow has already been linked to a unit. When done, click ‘Save’.
Edit Labels – If you are utilizing labels on your spaces, you can adjust the size/font in this section. When done, click ‘Save and Exit’.
Adding a new floor plan:
Setting change – before you are able to add a floor plan, you will need to update a setting on the property. Properties tab -> click into property -> Setup
Scroll down to More Details in Setup and click Show Floor plan and Save.
Click Floor plan on the property now, and you’ll be able to begin adding your floor plan. In Options, choose ‘Create New Plan’.
Upload your floor plan file, and choose your effective date, then Save. Follow same steps from Page 1 to Edit, Map and Label your new floor plan.
